Fort Wayne Community Schools - Balanced Scorecards

Balanced Scorecards

Fort Wayne Community Schools uses a Balanced Scorecard management system to set, track and achieve the District’s goals. The Balanced Scorecard provides feedback about our processes and outcomes enabling the District to demonstrate continuous improvement. The Balanced Scorecard addresses areas under each of the District’s goals:

  • Goal I: Achieve and Maintain Academic Excellence
  • Goal II: Engage Parents and the Community
  • Goal III: Operate effectively with integrity and fiscal responsibility

The balance enters as it keeps the District from focusing on one goal to the neglect of others. As a scorecard, it is designed to be public, transparent and measurable.
